The government plans to introduce new pharmaceutical programmes to promote research and innovation in the pharmaceutical industry. The centre is also aiming to dedicate multidisciplinary courses for medical devices, and a mission to eliminate sickle cell anaemia by 2047 will be launched by the government, among many other initiatives.
