India's drug regulator had on December 28 granted emergency use authorisation (EUA) to Covovax. However, with the government not planning to introduce it in the vaccination programme, it has been decided to supply it to the Covax facility. In a meeting held last week, it was decided that supplies of Covovax will start from February to the Covax facility.
