A study carried out to assess Omicron's immune-escape ability has found that it's better at resisting Covaxin than the original SARS-CoV-2 B.1 (Wuhan) variant, and the Beta and Delta variants. The research was carried out by experts from the Pune-based ICMR-National Institute of Virology (NIV).
