Early this week, the state government passed a resolution reserving 20% seats in PG courses for students who served at least two years in rural, tribal and difficult public health centres. While the decision was announced in April this year, under the MVA government, the last-minute GR has left students in a dilemma. A student added that the admission brochure was also released, which usually mentions all the reservations. Students claimed that the resolution came at a time when the deadline for the registration process for Maharashtra, other states and even all-India counselling was over
