The plan to have textbooks for medicine, nursing, and pharmacy available in all major Indian languages within three years is certainly a progressive move. As the medical syllabus is tremendously massive and students have a hard time memorising and understanding the subjects in a language, they are not comfortable with, this will benefit some students who are not good at English.
