The National Medical Commission (NMC) has made significant changes to the curriculum that will be put into effect starting with the upcoming academic year of 2023–2024. These changes range from getting rid of the "stigmatised" concept of supplementary batches to making the Family Adoption Programme (FAP) a part of every year of the four and a half-year MBBS course.
