Last month, we received permission for 43 seats. Four new seats have been sanctioned in cardiothoracic surgery. DVL seats have been increased to 10 from the existing seven seats, gynaecology to 37 from the existing 26, pathology to 14 seats from the existing eight, physiology to 12 seats from the existing five, neurology to five from the existing three, surgery to 26 from the existing 19, and community medicine to 12 from the existing six: Dr G Butchi Raju
