A PG aspirant filed an RTI application to ascertain why no DNB PG seat in the city was reserved in the 50 per cent state quota pool seats as 100 per cent seats have been alloted for all India seats while other states and UTs distribute 50 per cent under all India and 50 per cent under state quota pool. As per the RTI, a letter from the director, health and family welfare in 2020 said that GMSH-16 was a district hospital and 50 per cent sharing of seats between all India and state quota can be implemented from 2021 by the NBE.
