The COVID-19 cases are rising against the backdrop of a spike in influenza cases across the country. Patients affected by the influenza A virus (H3N2) are experiencing high-grade fever, breathing difficulties, fatigue and dry cough that last for 2–3 weeks. In some cases, patients are also getting hospitalised.
