Government fixes price ceiling for 9 drug formulations https://ift.tt/01usgye

The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority has set the ceiling prices for nine drug formulations, including Tacrolimus and Co-trimoxazole. The prices for Tacrolimus (0.5 mg), 1 mg, and 2 mg have been fixed at Rs 20.97, Rs 39.98, and Rs 77.69, respectively. Non-compliance with the set prices will result in penalties. The NPPA has also revised the ceiling prices for Tramadol and Temozolomide. Moreover, the ceiling price fixation for orthopedic knee implants has been extended for one more year.
