A “Vision Document 2047” of the J&K health department states that the objective is to ensure the availability of quality and affordable healthcare services at the doorstep of citizens by rationalising existing facilities and establishing new ones. Presently, the region has a robust public healthcare infrastructure, including over 4,100 health facilities.
