The 'XDI Global Hospital Infrastructure Physical Climate Risk Report' predicts that Nepal will also be heavily affected, with 26% of hospitals facing closure. The analysis covered 53,473 hospitals in India and found that 9.6% would be at high risk of closure by 2100. The study highlights that the risk of hospital damage from extreme weather events has already increased by 41% since 1990. Furthermore, the report emphasizes the importance of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and implementing green technologies in hospitals.
