The recent official data on ILI-SARI (influenza-like illness-severe acute respiratory illness) shows that H3N2 infections account for 50 per cent of the respiratory infections. It is followed by the Victoria count, RSV, and swine flu. Interestingly, no COVID-19 cases were detected in the samples tested in the week ending August 27. Incidentally, a significant number of COVID-19 cases were reported till May 7.
