The state government is marching against deadlines to start government medical colleges in Eluru, Vizianagaram, Rajahmundry, Nandyal and Machilipatnam districts from the next academic year 2023-24. The state government, which has launched the works to set up 17 new medical colleges, has decided to kick-start at least five colleges from the coming academic year.
