While addressing a gathering of doctors in Jaipur, Gehlot had said he felt ashamed to admit that even the state government rushes medical faculty members from one medical college to another ahead of inspections by NMC to show that the medical colleges have sufficient faculty members to fulfil the norms and that “everything is fine” to get NMC’s approvals. The CM had said that the practice should stop.
