Known as the pharmacy of India, Gujarat continues to attract significant investments in the pharma sector. Estimates from top state government sources show that applications for licences for greenfield and brownfield investments to the tune of Rs 3,000 crore have been made with the Gujarat Food and Drug Control Administration (FDCA). Of this, Sanand is set to grab the lion's share with Rs 2,200 crore in investment.
