There has been a significant increase in students going abroad for studies. Responding to a written question on students opting for foreign universities for higher education, the Centre on Monday informed the Lok Sabha that after a dip in numbers during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, the numbers have increased to 7.5 lakh in 2022 from 5.8 lakh in 2019.
